Program Evaluation, Accountability, and Reporting

OSU Extension is committed to realizing our vision of ensuring “Ohioans have the knowledge and resources they need to actively engage in creating conditions in which they thrive” by achieving our mission: “We create opportunities for people to explore how science-based knowledge can improve social, economic and environmental conditions.” To do this, we must continuously monitor the effectiveness of our programs and services and the efficiency of our internal operations so that we may build on our successes and seek new ways to reach and serve our clientele's needs. Our Program Evaluation, Accountability and Reporting team leads the processes by which we accomplish those goals.

The Program Evaluation, Accountability, and Reporting team supports Extension operations by monitoring, assessing, and summarizing the outcomes and impacts our educational personnel provide for our community clientele. Our practices include management of Extension’s institutional program reporting; training and support for personnel in the documentation of their mission-supporting activities and accomplishments; analysis and summarization those activities and their impacts for dissemination to extension and CFAES administrators, funders, stakeholders, and others.
