For students kindergarten through 5th grade. To improve the eating and health behavior of NC youth. 11 pit stops provide interactive learning on nutrition and health. 30 feet wide, 38.5 feet in length and 8 feet high. Also, a writtten classroom guide to enhance the learning experience. Exhibit based on NC racing theme. |

Innovation name: 4-H Work Readiness for STEM careers Brief description of innovation as provided in online survey: The 4-H Work Readiness for STEM careers program is a new program that assists middle school aged youth to learn about the workforce and STEM careers. The program has a heavy focus on soft skills and the "unspoken" rules of work. In the program youth complete a total of five educational modules (Building your Brand, Communication, Conflict Management, Customer Interaction, and Handling Time and Responsibility) before transitioning to a volunteer or community service role in their communities. |
